Viva Las Vegas

Brian and I just returned from his sales meeting in Vegas. I had never been and I really loved it! Lots of fun things to do and great people watching - holy cow there are some interesting people in Vegas. The highlight of the trip was that Brian won Rep of the Year and was honored for all his hard work. He definitely earned it and I was so proud of him. Here are some pictures from the trip:

This was the view from our window. It was so beautiful and quiet (we were 30 min outside of the city).
This is when Brian had to give his speech after winning his award. Bless his heart, he couldn't get through it because he choked up thanking me! It was very touching! (Thanks to the V's for my Christmas present - purple dress)

Again, getting his speech out...

After the ceremony we drove into Vegas. Here is the largest chocolate fountain (it started in the ceiling). I really wanted to taste it, but the line was too long.

This was during the water show outside of the Bialogio (sp?) hotel. It was really cool!

More of the water show...

I had to beg and plead to get the group on this roller coaster with me and it worked! The girls went first and then Brian and the guys hopped on with me. It was definitely a thrill. It even went through part of the New York, New York hotel.

More of the sights...

There was so much to see I could have taken a million pictures, but I had to stop somewhere. It was a great trip, but we were so happy to get home and see sweet Samuel! A special thank you to Mimi and Papa for taking such wonderful care of our boy!

Oh good! I love seeing pictures from your trip and all that you did. I'm SO PROUD and happy for Brian and winning again this year. He's such a good man and truly deserved it. That was sweet that he got choked up thanking you. Behind every good man is an even better woman! :)

I bet you were THRILLED to see little Samuel again but it looked like a fun getaway for you two. Welcome home!

What can a Dad say about his son when I see the man he has become, the husband he is and the father he is. I think PROUD will suffice. My son has chosen well in his partner in life and Amy I know you support him and his success depends upon your loving support. We are thankful for you two and Samuel is so fortunate that GOD gave you guys as his parents. Love you guys deeply.

We just got back from Vegas!! It's wild, isn't it?? We stayed right in the city and were amazed at some of the "night life". Congrats on his award.. and glad that you were able to get away

HPS - hahaha, now I can't get that song out of my head! Dad V does have style, but they gave me $ for Christmas to buy a dress for the trip and I picked it out. Still very thoughtful!
Turnip - when were you there? Would have been so cool if we were there the same time! It is wild, but so fun (even if you're not wild).
