What a fun girl's weekend! Teecy, Dolly, Mary and Kirsten flew/drove in for a girl's weekend/my baby shower. Everyone stayed through Monday so we had a fun weekend filled with memories. I had to post the eating picture, because we are all usually congregating in the kitchen around food! Since college graduation we've tried to have at least two reunions a year and we've already met the quota this year. Dolly's wedding was our first reunion in April...it was a wedding fit for a princess and Dolly fit the role perfectly. As soon as she returned from her two week honeymoon in Hawaii the girls started planning for another party--my 1st baby shower! After 13 years of friendship, we are more like sisters and so grateful that God crossed our paths at Liberty University. Here's to lifelong friends and kindred spirits!

1st Baby Shower
My college girlfriends came in from all over to throw me a very classy baby shower. We had a great time eating and catching up. It was fun to reunite with my DC girlfriends and share fun stories from our days in the "big city"! Everyone spoiled mom and baby with adorable outfits, bath essentials, chic diaper bags, blankets, books, a bouncy seat and even a high chair! Even Brian caught the tail end of the shower long enough to watch me open his awesome gifts...including the "I'm told I like golf" onesie. He's training him early!

Babymoon
Welcome to our blog! Our dear friend Teecy is helping make the Vallecorse's techno-savvy just in time for Baby V to arrive. We found out we were pregnant in February and slowly began telling everyone the news a few months later. On June 7th we found out we are having a precious baby BOY and we are thrilled to welcome peanut to our family in October. Brian has not touched the ground since finding out he will have a son! Baby V is due on October 31--a "Boo Baby". We decided to take a babymoon vacation before I'm too big to enjoy it, so in May we spent a week in Turks and Caicos (thus the above pictures). We ate a lot, relaxed a lot, snorkled, kayaked and read baby books! It was a wonderful trip.
I'll post more pictures to show my baby bump as I'm now 5 months pregnant (21 1/2 weeks). I'm a growing girl!
Thanks for visiting our blog!
