I am now 38 weeks and 2 days! The top picture is my 38th week and the bottom is my 37th...I've dropped! This pregnancy has flown by in some ways and poked by in others. All in all, it has been a fun pregnancy and I have no complaints. The sleeping issue has finally be resolved since I discovered our couch is a much better option for sleeping these days than the bed. If I had my guess I'd say peanut will arrive before his due date, but we'll see! We finally got the carseat in yesterday and it was our last big thing to accomplish. We still need to assemble the diaper pail thing, but at least it's not essential. I cannot believe all the items you need for something so tiny! I know the real fact of the matter is that 1/2 the things are for the parents use. Thank goodness for new inventions to help with sleeping, diaper smells and feeding!
We are getting very excited to meet our little boy for the first time. We cannot wait to see his little face and hold him. It's such a surreal feeling knowing that he'll be here within days or at least not passed Nov. 10 which is the latest they'll let us go. We appreciate all the prayers and will keep you posted with this little guy decides to meet the world!

Amy- I was just checking in and you look great! I can not wait to see pictures of the little one, when he comes. The blog below with the story of your Memaw and the blanket she and your mom made for "peanut". How touching! this is something you will always treasure. Great post!
Amy, you look beautiful and I loved being able to see how big you're getting. (only in your stomach though) I feel so excited and anxious for you and can't wait to hear the name for your little SON! WOW! Maybe you'll have him on Teecy's bday? That would be special. ILY

Thanks girls! My face is getting puffy these last few weeks--it's kind of funny. I thought I'd post belly shots because they may be the last--next post will probably be of what's IN the belly:)! Good to hear from you Suzanne!
Amy, you are looking F-I-N-E! You're still wearing your wedding rings and you can still see those ankles. My rings were LONG gone by this point and I had MAJOR cankles. You're gonna be such a good mommy and I can't wait to hear this name you've conjured up!
Amy, you have definitely dropped and are all belly! I just put the car seat in the car today and I have to say, it's weird having 2 of them in there! I can't wait to see what name you have picked out for the little guy, but I have a feeling, "peanut" might be his nickname!!
BTW, I'm totally with you on the no sleep thing. The past week, I have slept terribly! I never had that problem with caroline. My doctor gave me the okay for Tylenol PM and all I can say is, Mommy Like.
That's a good idea--Tylenol PM. I need SOMETHING. I can't wait to see RB's pictures. Are you going to bring your laptop to the hospital? Hannah, thanks for the compliments. I am definitely more than just belly, but at this point I'm eating whatever I want because food makes me very happy--ha! All I wanted this morning was Cracker Barrel pancakes so we just got back--they were SO GOOD.
I will bring a laptop and post pics...probably Sat. Amy, I am with you on the eating, too. I think I've gained all my fat weight this past month. I don't know what's wrong with me but I am craving SUGAR! I am doing so badly, but I made a promise that I would give up sweets/sugar after he's born. Seriously, though, this is my last week to eat and I am going to PIG OUT!

Amy, can we have at least a brief update on your status? You only have 3 days so SOMETHING's just bound to be stirring down south. LOL...that didn't sound good. While you're counting the hours till peanuts here...how bout a couple of polls....one on the name and one on the due date?!?!?

Go up to "customize" in top right corner. Then "add page element" and then you'll see it. Once you do it, you can click and drag it to anywhere you want on the page. It's easy. I know you can do it!
