Today Samuel is 11 months old. I think I'm going to pass out when I actually do his 1 year post because it's gone by in a blink. He is still a little peanut, but he is fitting into his 12 month clothes for the most part. His favorite pastimes include stair climbing, waving/saying "bye-bye" and pointing to Brian while saying "Da-Da". Occasionally he'll say "Ma-Ma", but he really likes the b & d consonants. He loves airplanes and playing "get you". He'll squeal and take off, giggling the whole time. Recently he decided baby food is not for him. He'll tolerate it sometimes, but he would much rather eat finger foods. His favorites are asparagus, peas, bananas, peaches and top of the list of course are Cheerios. Meal times are always a messy experience, but fun!
Recently he started going to Kindermusic and he really likes it. He loves the other babies in the class and shows it by patting them on the head and then putting his forehead up to theirs.
Soooo, that is a little 11-month update. We are amazed at how much joy this little guy has brought into our lives!
Below he is really showing off the new and improved eye--he even raised his eyebrow for a clear shot.
Here is another shot taken today. Thank the Lord the surgery worked!

Congrats on the surgery..he looks great. I cannot believe he is already 11 months old! Are you guys planning a big party for next month? We had one, and then I said we wouldn't do one for Caleb's second... but I did. What's more fun than sugared-up toddlers? Anyway, hope all is going well--and I love that first picture of him..
YAH!!! FUN post! Love seeing that leak-free eye!! What a handsome little bugger he is! His sweet personality comes out in those shots. Winnie tried asparagus last night and loved it too...yah...thanks for the idea!! Are those doggies on his pjs??
His eye does look so much better. I know you're relieved! HE's such a cutie and has such a sweet smile. I can't believe he'll almost be ONE!!! It just seems like he was born a few months ago. He's getting so big!!! I guess that means you'll have to have another one soon. :)
Amy, he is getting so big! He is really starting to get a little boy look to him:) I'm glad the eye is doing better.
Hi Robin! Yes, we'll do a party for sure...I'm excited. Merritt--yes, those are dogs:). Got those at the Talbot's kids going out of business sale. Dolly--Nope, no #2 baby any time soon! Hi Donna!
What can we say as grandparents without sounding disgustingly proud. Oh, heck, we love that gorgeous grandson of ours. There we said it and that is the priviledge of being a grandparent e.g. making proud comments, carrying around pictures and showing people your grandson/granddaughter and not giving a hoot. Love the pictures Amy, gosh he is so good looking. There I go again. Can't wait to make more memories with Samuel in two weeks.
glad the surgery was a success! great pics amy, they don't get much cuter than your little guy.
amy, he is growing up so fast! he looks like a little boy!!
