Happy Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We drove up to PA last Wednesday to spend the holiday with Samuel's Mum mum and Pup pup. We had a wonderful time and Brian's parents were gracious hosts as always. They spoiled us with all sorts of yummy foods throughout our stay and we had fun playing Scrabble and Uno once Samuel went to bed. We actually celebrated Christmas during our time together so we fit a lot in. Samuel visited all the neighbors and even felt his first snowball. Thank you for a wonderful visit, Mum mum and Pup pup!!

Below are a few pictures of our time together:

Here are Mum mum and Samuel getting a little cuddle in before we headed out to dinner.
Samuel got into opening gifts. Mostly he enjoyed pulling off the bows and trying to put them on the tree (his own version of a Christmas ornament).
A very sneaky look here ... Notice Nittany in the background - they were fast friends.

Bonding with Pup pup - they had a great time together!

Looks like ya'll had a great time Amy! I know the V's were so happy to have you guys there. I'm sure the time went by too fast.

I loved seeing you guys too. I just cannot believe how much Samuel has changed and how big he is. Makes me want to take advantage of these middle of the night feedings while our little guy is so small. They grow up fast!

Glad your trip was a good one, Amy! How was the car ride to PA?
Samuel looks so sweet in his blue hat and brown coat... he has style at such a young age.

Dolly - It was SO GREAT to see you and your family. You look so great and are doing so great with Mikey.
Donna - I loved your T-giving pics too!
Kelli - Well on the way up he did GREAT. He slept 30 min on the first half, and a little longer the second. On the way home we left at 1pm and got home at 12:45 am and he slept only 30 min the whole time. He was pretty happy though so I can't complain! How was CO?

The pictures are great and we miss you guys terribly. The house is quiet and Nittany is wondering where Brian and Samuel are. He goes to the door and just lays there waiting for his two best buddies to come through the door. Being a grandparent is great, but the separation from Samuel is horrible. We love you guys alot!!!!!

We had a great time with you guys as well. It was a very nice Thanksgiving minus the terrible cold which I'm sorry I left you with - something to remember me by I guess! Get well soon!
